Artic Monkeys release new music hits
Most people will choose not to like the music artist Arctic Monkeys, based solely on the fact that most people automatically place them among the stereotypical Euro Rock music genre. Their debut music album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, sold 360,000 copies its first week in England. The first of their music hits was a hit in downloadable music, and got the buzz going throughout Western Europe. With the release of that single on downloading music sites, the music album became their country's fastest-selling debut CD, making them one of the most liked British bands of all time.

A glimpse of the future
The president has said that Gen. Petraeus' September report will be "a very important moment." That would be true, if we could trust the general and the ambassador and the rest of the administration to honestly assess the situation. But looking at the facts on the ground, deceiving the American people about them, and making decisions based on those deceptions, has been the White House's M.O. for the entire run of the war. What makes anybody think the administration is suddenly going to change come the magical moment in September? The Bushies are nothing if not consistent, so it's all but guaranteed they are going to obfuscate, spin, cherry-pick, and deceive.
