I read a couple of articles this week that just goes to prove that people take religion to be what they want it to be. Something that will benefit themselves or a portion of their society. I have no understanding of Islam but I do know that it seems to be a religion that is for the benefit of men and totally against the women of the faith. First, when did GOD decide that women were a second class citizen? One of the articles I read details how a woman was raped, stomped on, beaten and eventually strangled by family members as part of an "honor killing".
