As you may have noticed, I have changed the skin on my blog. I really like the skin that Mack had done for me over at SportsGuru and so I wanted something nice and clean like that. This is the result. Much thanks to Mack who did all the work on the CSS to make it possible. As you will notice, I have put 5 graphics at the top. The Inukshuk is a favorite northern icon of mine. Above the Arctic Circle, the land is dominated by permafrost and has few natural landmarks and thus the inukshuk was central to navigation across the barren tundra.
I have been following the court case of the 4 year old abused child in Edmonton and this quote is very fitting. "Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph." – Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia (1892–1975), Emperor of Ethiopia (1930–1974). He is also widely known as the religious symbol for God incarnate among the Rastafari movement, founded in Jamaica in the early 1930s. If you haven't heard the story you can read my previous posts here and here.
